Meet Gem City Laser
Consent Chips were created by Gem City Laser, a mother-daughter laser engraving business founded by Shelly and Bree in Dayton, Ohio.
Since 2021, we’ve created personalized products for individual customers, small businesses, established organizations, and recognizable brands. We’ve completed thousands of orders across GemCityLaser.shop, Etsy, Amazon, and direct business partnerships.
Our Etsy shop has earned more than 650 customer reviews with a 4.9-star average, and we’ve repeatedly earned Etsy’s Star Seller badge for responsive service and reliable fulfillment. Many of our business customers return when they need their next project brought to life.

Are Consent Chips handmade?
Yes. Our chips are laser engraved, finished, inspected, and packed by our team in Dayton, Ohio. They are never dropshipped.
Can I customize my chips?
Yes. We can add your organization’s logo, business name, preferred wording, or other design elements. Custom options are available for studios, schools, therapy practices, healthcare providers, events, and other organizations.
What materials are available?
Depending on the design, Consent Chips are available in natural wood and multiple acrylic colors. We offer 1/8" and 1/4" thickness.
Who are Consent Chips for?
They can be used anywhere someone may benefit from a clear, low-pressure way to communicate a preference. This includes wellness studios, classrooms, therapy spaces, sensory environments, care settings, workplaces, events, and homes.
Do you offer bulk quantities?
Yes. We welcome studio, organizational, wholesale, event, and corporate orders. Use the contact form to request pricing and discuss your timeline.
Shipping
Because our products are made to order, most standard orders require approximately 3–5 business days for production before shipping. Larger, branded, and highly customized orders may require additional time.
The processing and estimated delivery dates shown during checkout include both production and transit time. Once your order ships, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.
Please review your shipping address carefully before submitting your order. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to help, but address changes cannot be guaranteed after production or shipping has begun.
Carrier delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by weather, holidays, or other delays outside our control. If you have a firm event date, please include it with your order or contact us before purchasing.
Custom Order Policy
We want your custom order to feel right before it goes into production.
For custom wording, logos, and branded designs, we may provide a digital proof for your approval. Please review all spelling, wording, sizing, and design details carefully. Production begins after approval, and requested changes after approval may affect the price or completion date.
Customers submitting a logo or branded artwork confirm that they have permission to use it. Clear, high-resolution artwork or a vector file produces the best engraving results.
Production timelines for custom and bulk orders begin after we have received all required information, artwork, approval, and payment.
Because personalized products are created specifically for you, they generally cannot be returned or exchanged. However, if your order arrives damaged or we make an error, please contact us with photos so we can make it right.
